Was saddened to hear of the loss of your father. I remember your whole family making the trip down to Fairhope during the summer days, as you all were growing up. I miss those days! Will surely keep you in our thoughts and prayers –

    • Hi Doug,
Thanks very much for your message. We do have good memories of growing up. As Dad had been telling me during the past couple of years, “I’ve had a good life. I wish I could do it all over again!”
My regards to the whole family,

      • Kathy, would you send me an email note. I have some family questions regarding your dad’s work. I would like to keep his efforts going forward.

  7. Louis, Chris, Mimi and Kathy – my condolences. If I could give you a hug, I would. I just wanted you to know that I’m thinking of you.

  8. Just discovered this sad information. Sorry for your loss. I am also sorry I did not get to share Abney family genealogy with your dad. We were so close to Auburn, AL. for many years. I know we would have shared a common love of family as he and Abney Brewer did. I did get to enjoy some of his work in her book.
