Ralph Wylie Frey, III, age 75, of Covington, Georgia, passed away on March 17, 2017, after a long struggle with lung disease. He is survived by his brother, Ford Charles Frey, his sister, Karen Frey Lecoste, and his long time friend and caretaker, Andrew Norman.
Ralph “Doc” Frey was a Doctor of Business Administration and enjoyed a long and successful career with Kennesaw State University, where he served from 1984-2005 in the Accounting Department as a Professor and Department Chair and under President Betty Siegel as her Executive Assistant.
A loyal friend, he was exceptionally kind, loving and generous, with an ever-present listening ear and a penchant for helping those less fortunate than himself. He maintained dozens of long term friendships and helped thousands as he traveled through life. His love for fine food, a cold Martini, and the fellowship of friends around the table will not be soon forgotten, and the world is a little less due to his passing. Goodbye old friend; we all look forward to seeing you again.
