Barbara Castle Sublett

Barbara Castle Sublett passed away peacefully at her home in Acworth, Georgia on October 9, 2020.  Barbara was born in Wharton, West Virginia on October 28, 1944, the youngest child of Gladys and Richard Castle.  She grew up in Paintsville, Kentucky and graduated from Paintsville High School.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Bill and Herman Castle.  She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Larry Sublett, daughter Stacey Casella, “favorite” son-in-law Ben Casella and two loving granddaughters Sydney and Paige Casella.

Barbara loved her life with Larry, moving to new places and making beloved friends along the way that she cherished!  She also loved crafting, cooking, shopping, and visiting with and spending time with friends and family.  She especially loved being a bonus mom/grandmother to many others that she loved and who lovingly referred to her as “mom”.

Due to Covid-19, a celebration of life will be held at a later time in Paintsville, Kentucky.
