Bill Bishop, age 81, of Tucker, Georgia, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born & grew up in Thomaston, Georgia, graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, attended Baylor University and Mercer University. He was in the men’s clothing business for over 40 years representing many companies, ending his career with Carhartt. He was a Master Gardener and volunteered at Emory Hospital for Mended Hearts. He was a very active member of First Baptist Church of Tucker. He was a loving and kind man and was loved by many. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis & Mary and his sister Kay. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra, of almost 56 years; children, Sam Bishop (Kimberly), Missy Rogers and Suzi Stephens (John) and grandchildren, Max & Mitchell Rogers, Will, Brice (Anna), & Bailey Bishop, Stella & Ben Stephens; great grandchild Levi; sisters-in-law Carol Boehm & Mary Ann Hitchcock; brother-in-law Jimmy Hitchcock.
