Bobby Joe (Joey) Mcintyre

Bobby Joe (Joey) McIntyre, age 62, of Cartersville Georgia passed away peacefully at Redmond Hospital on Tuesday May 19, 2020. Joey enjoyed working in the yard, watching football, Fox News, and sitting on the front porch with his Mom, "Mama Mac."His love for helping the needy was impeccable. He always had his door open for the homeless.

Joey was born on September 22, 1957 in Bartow county, to William (Will) McIntyre and Frances McIntyre Wolf. He attended Cartersville High School and graduated in 1976. He worked for the Corps of Engineers for several years and later became an  Electrician for Manns Electric for 20 years.

He is survived by his daughter,  Holly Ezell, siblings Johnny McIntyre, Larry McIntyre (Terri), and Tammy McIntyre Chappell all of Cartersville. Also, loved by many nieces and nephews.

The service will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville 11:00 am Friday May 22, 2020. The service will be lead by the Reverend Mary K. Erickson, of Cartersville.
