Carolyn Sue Turner, our sweet Mother, Nanny, Sister, and Aunt went home to be with our Lord & Saviour on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

She loved her kids, and grandkids and enjoyed time with them any chance she got.

She was preceded in death by her late husband John L. Turner, Parents John & Eria Ray, 1 brother Carlton Ray, 2 sisters Geneva Ledford & Charlene James, Granddaughter Jerrica Hufstetler,  Grandson Tyler Boswell, 1 Great Grandson Isaiah Hudson.

She leaves behind 4 kids Mark Hufstetler Boswell (Paige) Scott Hufstetler (Kim) Cindy Hulsey (Terrell) and Renee Vanvalkenburg. 6 Grandkids, Christy Hiland (Chris), Adam Furr, Cody Hufstetler, Dala Hufstetler, Taylor Hufstetler, Tori Ault (TJ) and Raylee Fouts.

8 Great Grandkids, Avyanna Hufstetler, Raylyn Hiland, Lilly Hiland, Aryanna Hudson, CJ Hiland, Daymi Hiland, Alanna Grace Williams. 1 Great Great Grandbaby Hazel Rayne Stanley. 1 sister Jane Grier, 1 brother Donald Ray (Rosebud), several nieces and nephews.

Viewing for family & friends will be Tuesday from 5 PM to 8 PM and Service Wednesday at 1 PM at Creekside Fellowship Church. 585 Old Alabama Road, with Pastor Mike Abernathy officiating. She will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers, Jesse James, Phil James, Chad Woodall, Andy Woodall, and Stevie Ray.

Honorary Pallbearers are Adam Furr, Cody Hufstetler, CJ Hiland, Henry Williams, and Ed Crain.  They are asked to meet at Creekside Fellowship Church at 4:15 Tuesday.

The Turner family is being cared for by Georgia Funeral Care of Acworth, under the direction of Mr. Parnick Jennings and Kevin Marcy.
