Jacquelyne Simpson

Jacquelyne (Jackie) Elaine Simpson, age 74, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021, at her home in Acworth, Georgia.  Jackie was born April 23, 1947, to Jack and Therese Russell in Atlanta.  Georgia.  She has one brother Shorty Russell.  Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul V. Simpson, Mother and Father.  She is survived by her three children – Paul V. Simpson Jr. (Yolonda) of Acworth, Georgia.  Charlie J. Simpson (Bonnie) of White, Ga. And Theresa D. Simpson-Mathis (Ken).  Grand Children – Nichole, Nikki, Sadie, Hunter, Kahshonna, Kevin & Cory, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Jackie was a very loving, kind, and generous person who loved her family deeply and devoted her entire life to them. Her home was always open to all, for she never knew a stranger. She was an amazing cook, and all were welcome to her table.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband with a special love of visits to the mountains in the fall or the beach in the summers.  She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.

A visitation/memorial gathering will be held on Friday, November 19th from 12-3 at the Georgia Funeral Care Located at 4671 South Main Street Acworth, Ga 30101
