Charles Krieg

June 24, 1945 — October 19, 2021

Charles Phillip Krieg, 76 of Kentucky passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021. He was born to the late Georgia Krieg on June 24, 1945.


He served in the US Army in the 42nd Platoon Scout Dogs which was attached to the 101st Airborne during the Vietnam War. He retired from Brown and Williamson as a Senior Fabrication Technologist after 31 years. He was then free to enjoy time with his wife, Linda Ellen Krieg, and his family.


He is survived by his wife, Linda Ellen Krieg, of 53 years along with his children Erik (Vicky) Krieg, Jeana (Marty) Carter, Christina (Chad) Bridges; grandchildren, Lindsey, Cason, Bailey, and Caleb; sister Georgia Norris, and Judy (Tom) Jackman; sister-in-law Faye Krieg.


His sister Sue Ann (Richard) Salyer, brothers Ronnie (Martha) Krieg and Billy Krieg along with his brother-in-law Herb Norris proceeded him in death.


In the words of his sweet sister, Georgia Norris “salvation is yours through his precious son Jesus. I am now at peace, and I know the heavenly Father will provide you that peace. He will speak to you through his creation – awakening you with the warmth of the morning son, refreshing you with his gentle rain, lifting your spirit with the songs of the birds, and ending your day with the comfort of the beauty of the setting sun. We will meet again. We love you.”


Visitation will be Saturday, October 23rd from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Georgia Funeral Care in Acworth, GA.
