Charlie Edward Phillips was born December 3, 1953, in Waynesboro Ga, and he fell asleep December 21, 2017, in Powder Spring, Ga. He was the son of Robert Phillips Sr and Mary Wiley. He left behind a wife of 20 years Carol Phillips and three sons Joie Phillips (Kellie) , James Phillips and Cedrick Phillips.
Charlie made his home in Powder Springs, Ga for 15 years. He was a pillar of his community. He was a great husband, great father, and a great brother. He was a Carpenter by trade but an Artist at heart. All his handy work turned into masterpieces! Other attributes of Charlie was, a great dancer, a singer, and performer, he roller-skated, and draw portraits of famous people. Charlie also shared his knowledge with his sons.
Charlie leaves behind to cherish his memory fifteen grandchildren, three living brother Robert Phillips, Bobby Phillips and Freddy Phillips and four living sisters Mary Jane Phillips, Gladys Phillips, Willie " Bay-bay” (Randolph) Lewis and Annie Phillips and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Charlie was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but will for certain be unforgettable.
