Christopher Stephen Hillman

Christopher Stephen Hillman (45), of Dallas, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2025 surrounded by his wife, parents, and siblings. Chris was born January 12, 1980 in Omaha, Nebraska. He grew up in Urbandale, Iowa where he was active in sports, particularly golf. He settled in Acworth, Georgia where he met the love of his life, Kari, in 2016 and they were married in 2020. They lived in the Atlanta area with their beloved pets.

Chris loved Nebraska football, the Atlanta Braves, grilling for family and friends, and hitting the links for 18 holes of golf. Chris was the life of the party, known for his humor and his uncanny ability to win over a karaoke crowd with his tone deaf renditions of top country hits. Chris was loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Kari Hillman, parents Stephen and Sherry Hillman, siblings Noel (Brandee) Hillman, Theodore Hillman, and Jennifer (Eric) Register, nieces and nephews Allyson Hillman, Owen Hillman, Grant Hillman, Peyton Register, Presley Register, Norah Heise, Kate Heise, and Molly Heise, and grandmother Dolores Hillman.

Chris was preceded in death by grandparents Harlan Hillman, Samuel Harrison, and Lois Engle, aunt Christine Askew, and nephew Carter Heise.

Friends and family are invited to Georgia Funeral Care in Acworth, Georgia on Saturday April 26, 2025. Visitation begins at 10:00am with a memorial service at 11:00am. Following the services, a Celebration of Life gathering will follow hosted by the Register family.
