Dianna “Lynn” Gentry, 60, passed away on March 10, 2025, unexpectedly in Cartersville, Georgia. She was born on February 2, 1965, in Atlanta, Georgia.
She is survived by her son, Trey and Jessie, her beloved grandson, Axel Bo; and her father, Pete (Harrison) . She also leaves behind her sister and brother-in-law, Sonya and Mike; nieces and nephews, Niki and Dakota, Dustin and Allyson, Caleb and Jessica; and great-nieces and nephew, Gracelynn, Kennedy, and Elijah. Very special friends-Janey Mulkey and Sherry Wilson and their families always held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Gentry, and her brother, Randy Gentry. Grand parents and many aunts and uncles.
Lynn had a generous spirit and a deep love for people. Her persistence was always guided by the best of intentions. Her faith was central to her life; as a devoted Baptist who loved Jesus, she found strength and purpose in her beliefs.
She enjoyed cooking and treasured time spent with family. Whether preparing meals or simply sharing moments together, she found joy in the connections she nurtured with those around her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 3, at Mike and Sonya’s house.
Lynn’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May the love she shared continue to bring comfort to all who mourn her passing. Our peace is that she is in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Until we meet again
