Donald F. Barnes

Donald Frank (Don) Barnes, 73, of Acworth, Ga was called home on September 19, 2019. Mr. Barnes was born in Atlanta, Ga and joined the USMC from 1964-1968.

He served his Country honorably in The Vietnam War. He retired from Coca Cola Co in 2012 where he worked as a mechanic for 34 years. Mr. Barnes is survived by his wife of 29 years, Freda Barnes of Acworth, two daughters, Cassandra Shelby (David), Tori Stansberry (Alan), son, David Reese (Lori), 4 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 1 great-grandson & two sisters, Janet Metcalf of Jacksonville, Fl. and Lois Faye Wist ofMillersville, Maryland.

Service will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019, 4pm. Family will receive Visitation  3p to  4p at Cornerstone Community Church, 4206 N Arnold Mill Rd, Woodstock, Ga 30188 . David L Kight, Pastor. Georgia Funeral Care & Cremation Services, Acworth, GA.
