Donald Samuel Ruff passed away early Saturday morning, May 20, 2017, at the age of 73. Don is predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Charlotte Ruff, his brother Charles Ruff, and his son, Stan Ruff. Don is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kay Fordham Ruff, his sons, Sam and Ralph Ruff, and his grandchildren, Kody, Jessica, and Joshua Ruff. They will be receiving friends and family at First Baptist Church of Cartserville on Thursday, May 25th, from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Don and Kay enjoyed spending their time together volunteering for the counseling services at the First Baptist Church of Atlanta. Don graduated from Cartersville High School in 1961 and attended West Georgia college. He was presently employed at United Panel Corp., and early on was part owner of the local radio station WKRW.
