Ed Wayne Austin

On Friday, March 20, 2020, Ed Wayne Austin passed away in Marietta, Georgia at the age of 59.  Wayne was born on October 13, 1960 in Niceville, Florida to Gene and Gladys Austin. Wayne served in the U.S. Army from (1984 to 1988?) and graduated from Cuesta College with a degree in Electronics.  He also graduated from the Art Institute with a degree in Music and Entertainment Management.  He utilized both specialties to create his own professional audio repair business. Wayne had a passion for scuba diving and cycling.  He enjoyed bourbon and the occasional cigar.  He was avid music lover and reader of history.  He loved animals, especially his cats.  Wayne is preceded in death by his father, Gene.  He is survived by his mother, Gladys Baggett Porter, his brother, Christopher Austin, his sisters, Peggy Shoemaker, Vikki Cooper, and Kathy Saxon and fourteen nieces and nephews.

There will be a private ceremony in October.  Memorial donations in memory of Wayne may be made to your local pet rescue organization.
