Mrs. Edna Lowery Tucker, 89, of White, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 11 th, 2025 at an Atlanta hospital surrounded by her loving family. Edna was born December 27th,1935 in Bartow County, daughter of the late George Washington Lowery and Della Ester Lowery Black. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her husband Charles Lenward Tucker, Sr., daughter Rexanne Hardin, sister Ruth Mullinax, and brothers Billy and Wayne Lowery. She is survived by her brother, Bobby Lowery (Vickie), daughter, Kimberly Tucker Dover (Danny), son, Kenneth Gerald Hardin, grandchildren, Camen Matthews, Trey Matthews, Kurt Hufstetler, Mikey Lewis, Mia Posey, Abby Love, Josh Dover, Ally Dover, and many, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Edna retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1997, but the jobs she loved the most were taking care of her family and praising God. She was a member of the White United Methodist Church for over 40 years. She loved her family unconditionally, and she was always there to lend support whenever it was needed the most. In her younger days she rode with her little brothers all around White, Georgia on a bicycle, played basketball, dipped snuff (but repented at age 12). Later in life, she taught her grandchildren to sew babydoll clothes out of wash clothes, shopped at Belk, cooked spaghetti for her family, went to auctions, and so many other things. She liked to read, color, and plant vegetables. She was loved by all that knew her.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025, 11:00am at White United Methodist Church in White, Georgia with Rev. Keith Willard officiating.
