Evelyn Long Walker

Evelyn Long Walker (78) was born November 12, 1940 In Bartow County Georgia. She entered Heavens gates on March 23, 2019 from a long illness.  A loving wife and mother, Evelyn will be most remembered as a Godly woman with a great sense of humor, positive attitude and her constant smiles and laughter.  Evelyn leaves behind her loving husband of 54 years, Clifton Richard Walker. She also leaves 4 sons, Carl (wife Mona) Walker, Steve (wife Jamie) Walker, Mike (wife Marshelle) Walker, Mark (wife Rhonda) Walker and 2 daughters, Anita (husband Keith) Nelson and Amanda (husband Chris) Barker along with 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  A viewing will be held at New Covenant Church, 5425 Ga-20, Cartersville GA. 30121, on Thursday March 28, 2019, from 6pm to 8pm, and on Friday, March 29, from 12PM to 1PM.  The funeral will be held at 1PM following the visitation at the church.
