Gary Lamar Morris

Gary Lamar Morris passed away Monday 02/24/2025 peacefully at the age of 77. Gary Morris achieved the rank of Captain in the City of Cartersville Fire Department serving his community for 31 years. Gary was a fisherman for most of his life. 

Gary Morris was born in Cartersville Georgia November 17th 1947 to his mother Mary Magdeline Martin Morris  and Father Arther (Buck) Morris. He survived by his son Cary Morris, (Tori Smith), sister Carolynn Burgess and brother Carlton Morris. He has one grandson, Gage Morris. Services for Gary Morris will be held at Georgia Funeral Care, 4671 S. Main St. Acworth, Ga 30101  678-574-3016.

There will be a visitation from 11am to 1pm Thursday, February 27th, 2025 at Georgia Funeral Care. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens on February 27th  2025 at 2pm.
