Glenwood V. James

Kennesaw, Georgia - GySgt Glenwood Volney James, USMC (Ret), 96 years old, born in Skowhegan, Maine, November 5, 1928, formerly of Anderson, South Carolina, husband of the late Yukie Shinohara for 73 years, father of Marie (Wayne Powell), Patricia (Larry Troffer), Toni (Richard McSween) and Joanie (Mark Van Osdal), grandfather of 10, great-grandfather of 23 lived his life to the fullest and met God while surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Both Glenwood and Yukie will be laid to rest together at a private burial later in March. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Madrid Historical Society, PO Box 122, Phillips, Maine 04966.
