Harvey Rosenfeld

September 19, 1958 — February 5, 2025

Canton

Harvey Ray Rosenfeld, born September 19, 1958, to Naomi and Bill Rosenfeld of Philadelphia, PA. He is survived by his loving spouse and soul mate Kathy Rosenfeld, adoring children Lena and Zachary and their spouses Alec and Jessica, and grandchildren Hannah, Kol, Jack, and Sam. Harvey was a loyal brother in fraternity with Sigma Phi Epsilon and an avid salesman wielding the ability to sell snow to an Eskimo! Receiving a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis at 19 never got him down even when the disease took away the ability to use all but one finger. Somehow, despite it all, he kept smiling. His great love was all things sports: from baseball, football, Nascar, and boxing. On Saturdays, you could usually find him in front of a TV with one of his grandsons watching a sports program. One of his favorite movie quotes comes from The Sandlot: "There are heros, and there are legends. Heroes get remembered, but legends never die." Harvey was a legend, and the family asks that in lieu of flowers, please consider a monetary donation to the MS Society in the hopes that someday relief may be found by another living with the disease. A visitation will take place Monday, February 10, 2025 at 12:00 PM and a memorial service beginning at 1:00PM in the chapel of Georgia Funeral Care. There will be a wake following the service at 1063 Middlebrooke Dr. Canton, GA 30115.
