Helen “Lynne” Christian McEver, of Marietta, Georgia, age 69, passed away at Anderson Mill Rehabilitation Center in Austell, Georgia, on January 28, 2017. A lifelong resident of Marietta, Lynne’s favorite activities were laughing with her friends and family, sewing, creating crafts, and watching cooking shows. During her lifetime she held various jobs including homemaker, daycare provider, church bookkeeper, and valued contributor at a firm that provided financing to auto dealers.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Christian and Christy Baggett of Atlanta, son Russell C. McEver of Marietta, sister and brother-in-law Dianna C. and S. Douglas Miller of Hiram, brother William V. Christian of Acworth, granddaughter Virginia A. Baggett of Greenville, South Carolina, and grandson Tyler C. McEver of Marietta.
Lynne was preceded in death by her beloved husband H.M. McEver, Jr., mother Helen Lee Neal, and father William S. Christian.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11 at Georgia Funeral Care located at 4671 South Main Street, Acworth, GA. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m.
