Joseph M. Sanders

Joseph M. Sanders passed away on Sunday September 10, 2023 in Woodstock, GA after a lengthy illness. He was born on September 24,1947 in South Bend,Indiana. Preceding him in death were his parents Joseph J. Sanders and Donna Sanders along with a sister Sandra Bennett. He has two brothers John (Dee) of Evans, GA and Richard of South Bend, IN along with nephews Brian Sanders of Marietta, GA and Brent Sanders of Hope Sound, FL On August 15, 1970 he married Sharon (Kozlowski). They have one son Adam ( Kelley of Newnan GA.

Joe graduated from Riley High School in South Bend and attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana. He proudly served in the US Marines Corp Reserves where he received a Rifle Expert Badge and a National Defense Service Medal. He received an honorary discharge. Joe loved people and sales was the perfect career choice for him. He was an avid golfer, a huge basketball and football fan. Saturday afternoons would find him cheering on the fighting Irish or the Georgia bulldogs.

A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held in South Bend with family and friends at a later date.
