Judy Burns Disotell, 69, wife of Clarence J. Disotell, Jr., passed away at home in Cartersville, Georgia, on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Judy and Clarence were married in March 1971 in Violet, Louisiana. She graduated from La Fargeville Central School in 1965. Upon moving to Georgia, she worked for Home Depot for approximately 20 years.
Judy was born in La Fargeville, New York on July 3, 1947, and is the daughter of the late William and Evelyn Burns. She is survived by her husband Clarence Disotell, Jr. of Cartersville, Georgia; daughters Dawn M. Fouts of Alpharetta, Georgia (wife of Barry N. Fouts) and Marie A. Wardlaw of Flowery Branch, Georgia (wife of David E. Wardlaw); grandchildren, Joseph N. and James H. Fouts, and Brooke M. Wardlaw; along with several nieces and nephews.
Judy is preceded by her parents William and Evelyn Burns, sister Ilene R. Burns, and brothers Roger and Terry Burns.
The family will receive friends at home (111 Eastwood Dr. Cartersville, Georgia) on Sunday, January 29, 2017, from 3-5pm. Graveside service is Monday, January 30, 2017, promptly at 10am at the
Georgia National Cemetery
in Canton, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the
