Marcia M. (Moore) Malone

Marcia M. (Moore) Malone passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on Monday, September 11, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 11th, 1937 to Dr. Gregory P. and Verene Moore In Cadillac, Michigan. She is survived by her husband Wayne, sons Michael (Lisa), Mark (Lisa), Matt (Jeana), sister Pam Anderson (Alan), six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, John Moore (Marilyn).

Marcia married Wayne Malone in South Bend, Indiana on August 30th, 1958, where they started their family, relocating to Argos, Indiana before eventually moving to Acworth, Georgia for many years. Marcia’s lifelong passion for music and sincere love for the Lord produced many opportunities to play, sing, direct many choirs and events, and instruct many children the love and appreciation of the art of piano playing.

Her countless acts of kindness and unconditional love are a legacy remembered by many who loved her. She was a true disciple of the biblical ethic of loving one’s neighbor as one’s self. Her faith in the death and resurrection Jesus Christ as Lord has ensured her place in heaven.

There will be no memorial service. A celebration of life for family will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been made with Georgia Funeral Care of Acworth. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Dementia Society of America.
