Mary H. Matuson

Mary H. Matuson, 95, of Acworth, Georgia passed away peacefully January 12. 2020. She was born December 15, 1924 in Akron, Ohio. She married her longtime friend and love, Louis Matuson. Louis and daughter Louise Mimbs, preceded her in death.

Mary was a sweet women who loved her family and friends and especially enjoyed celebrating their birthdays.

Her life was a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Mary is survived by her sons Michael (Lori) and Jerry (Elsa) Matuson, her beloved son-in-law Cory Mimbs (Lucy), grandchildren Christopher Mimbs, Michael Matuson (Rebecca), Jenny Matuson, Mandy Masterjohn and Emmett Shane, niece Loda May Smith and close friend, Gloria Mairano along with numerous acquaintances throughout the years. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

Mary was a great example on how life should be lived and to always love the people who surround you.
