Mary Elizabeth Lynch

Mary Elizabeth Lynch (Pritchett) 90 of Dallas, GA and formerly Acworth, GA passed away on March 9, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.

Funeral and Visitations will be held at Georgia Funeral Care in Acworth, GA. Visitation will be on Sunday March 16, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm followed by the Funeral Service at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Kennesaw, GA.

Mary was born in Canton, GA on August 4, 1934. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church on Belmont Avenue in Smyrna, GA. Mary was a Dispatch Radio Operator for the Allatoona Volunteer Fire Department for 23 years. She was a Voter Registrar and a Poll Official for Bartow County for 20 plus years.

Mary was an advocate for her family and her community. She lobbied and achieved having County water ran and the roads paved in Allatoona Grove Subdivision in South Bartow County in the early 1970’s where she lived with her husband and children for 50 years.

Mary was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She always put her family first.

Mary is survived by her son Ray Lynch and his wife Kate, her son Darrel Lynch and his wife Robin, her daughter Michelle Frederick and her husband Buddy. Five Grandsons Jayson Frederick, Cary Lynch, Nathaniel Lynch, Bill Lynch and Billy Lynch and 11 Great Grandchildren. Sisters,Thelma Lusk Cochran and Faye Owen.

Mary is preceded in death by her Husband of 65 years William “Bill” R. Lynch Sr., Mother Cora J. Pritchett, Father James E. Pritchett, 10 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
