Melvin Thomas Baker

Mr. Melvin Thomas Baker , age 75, of Acworth, GA, passed away Saturday April 23, 2022. Melvin was born on April 5, 1947 in Marietta, GA , the son of the late Thomas & Mary Baker.

Melvin grew up in Acworth, GA along with three brothers, Don Baker, the late Tony Baker, and the late Earl Baker, and one sister the late Patricia Smith.

Melvin served his country in the early years of his life. Melvin enjoyed camping, fishing, and taking care of his many Boston Terrier puppies.

Melvin was survived by his wife of 43 years, Becky M Baker, Sons Scottie Willis, Chris Wright, Joe Baker, Ronnie Baker, Michael Baker, Timothy Baker, and Daughters Mary Ann Rix  & Stacey Gillham. Melvin  also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren

The family is planning a graveside service June 3 at 9 am at Georgia National Cemetery.
