On Saturday, July 8th, 2017, the world lost an extraordinary individual, her body succumbing to a difficult battle with cancer. With immediate family by her bedside, Nadine Linda Wall was comforted as she drew her final breaths. Though we shed tears of her passing, we are also aware of Nadine’s wish to celebrate her life with much joy.
Nadine, a loving wife and mother of two daughters, was the pulse of the family, joyfully serving as motivator and organizer for family activities. Whether it was through surprise vacations, parties, or other outings, she was steadfast in her dedication to her husband, children, and family. She was active in her daughters’ education, volunteering countless hours at their schools and activities. She was an athletic individual - an avid cyclist competing in many mountain bike races, maintaining her “Queen of the Mountain” status still today. She was a swimmer, and general lover of nature. She was an active member of Northstar Church, working on staff as the graphic designer for a decade or more. Her faith and involvement with the church led her to become a shepherd to others struggling on their journeys through times of difficulty. She connected with numerous people as they suffered with difficult diagnosis’, becoming a beacon of hope in their lives, while continuing to fight her own battle. As we reflect on Nadine’s life, we can find solace in her own words: “I’m catching your every tear and I’m making rainbows with every one.”
Survived by
Nadine is survived by husband Skip, daughters Madison and Alana, parents Anne and Lance Lewin, and her brother Max Lewin.
