Paul Daniel Wilson

Paul Daniel Wilson, a long-time over-the-road truck driver, moved to his heavenly home unexpectedly on August 2, 2022, at the age of 60. He was born to Maurice Alan “Bud” Wilson and Eva Mae Wilson on September 4, 1961 (“Labor Day”) in Atlanta, Georgia, who preceded him in death. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his only sister, Linda Mylane Wilson. Paul lived most of his life in Smyrna, Georgia, and recently moved with Mylane to Rydal, Georgia to live in the “country.”

Paul loved to hunt, fish, and garden and was a huge fan of Southern Gospel Music. He was well known for his green thumb, carpentry, his ability to fix nearly everything, and his ability to park an 18-wheeler on a postage stamp.

Paul loved the Lord with all of his heart and was an avid ambassador to all his trucker friends who all used to have “conference calls” while they drove all over the country. Many truckers say that Paul changed their lives. Paul’s goal was to lead his trucker friends to the Lord.
