Paul Edward Schleif, 70, of Marietta,GA passed away on Thursday, June 29,2017 at Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He was born on September 22, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to Norman and Dollie (Still) Schleif.
Paul is survived by his wife Sharon of 24 years, daughters Karin (Scott) Sill, Katherine (Eric) Lyme, Kristin (Michael) Norris, son Kurt (Sara) Schleif; grandchildren Madison, Emily, and Natalie Lyme; Jackson and Samuel Sill; Lucas Norris; Carson and Camden Schleif. Paul was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a proud graduate of Michigan State University. He was passionate about photography and was a member of the Cobb Photographic Society where he served as President. Paul enjoyed golfing with friends and camping with his dog Clover. He enjoyed traveling to amazing places all over the world with his family. Paul was also an active volunteer at Good Mews Animal Foundation. He was a gifted carpenter and his work can be seen in homes all over the Atlanta area. A service will be held at 11:00 am on July 10, 2017 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Marietta, GA. A reception to celebrate his life will follow in the fellowship hall.
