Peggy Jean Fritz

Peggy Jean Fritz went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 8, 2023 at the age of 82. Peggy was a devout Catholic and was very active in her church, Saint Francis of Assisi in Cartersville, GA. Peggy loved her faith and church family and was fondly referred to by many in her parish as Ms. Peggy.

Peggy was born in Elmira, NY on January 19, 1941. She was the eldest child of George A. and Madeline O'Leary Halstead.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Fritz (Pamela) in Hazel Green, AL, Mark Fritz (Donna) in Cartersville, GA; her Grandchildren, Ashley Fritz, Lacey Fritz, Payne Fritz and Benjamin Fritz (Emma); her Great Grandchildren, Kendall Rylie and John David, one brother, Don Halstead (Deborah) and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass to honor Peggy will take place at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Cartersville, GA, on Wednesday, June 14 at 11:00 AM; with visitation starting at 10:00 AM.
