Shirley Barone

October 22, 1944 — November 15, 2022

Ms Shirley Barone age 78 was at home with her family by her side when she went on to be with our Loving Lord on November 15, 2022.

She was born on October 22, 1944, in Uniontown, Pa. She was raised in Pt. Marion, Pa. and moved to Rome, Ga. in 2005 with her son Michael Barone.

Preceding her in death were her husband, John Nicholas Barone; her parents, George Howard  Stull and Etta Pauline Stull; brother Howard “Howdy” Stull; sisters Mary Weeder and Madeline Keenan.

She was one of 8 children, surviving brothers Ronald Stull and Stanley Keenan; sisters Carol Phillips and Maxine Marinelli. She was married to the late “Nick” Barone and surviving are her two sons, John Barone, wife Kendra from Morgantown, WV. and Michael Barone, wife Kimberly from Rome, Ga. She has 7 grandchildren, John-Mike, Jason, Heather, Michael, Kyndra, Stevie & Chase; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Shirley was devoted to her family. She enjoyed playing with her great-grandchildren as often as she could. Shirley was a member of Renovation Church. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was always strong in her faith. Praying constantly for all those she held so dear.  In her last days, she longed to go home to the Kingdom of Heaven where she would be reunited with her loved ones and enter into fellowship with our Lord. It is with the hope that we celebrate her life.

The family will hold a small memorial service at Renovation Church 13 Redmond Ct. Rome, Ga. on Sunday, November 20th at  2:00 pm.

They will then have a brief service at Mt. Moriah  Baptist Church Cemetery, 120 Main St. Smithfield, Pa. on Wednesday, November 23rd at 1:00 pm in which she will be laid to rest.
