Thomas Henry Freeman

Thomas Henry Freeman, 76, of Adairsville, GA passed away, surrounded by his loving family on August 16, 2023. Thomas was born March 5, 1947 in Calhoun, GA to Nora Floyd and William Freeman. He is now reunited with his parents, siblings Alpha, Coralee, Lewis, Robert, Ruby, Gene, Beatrice, James, and Alfred, and his son Timmy. Thomas is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mona Freeman, and his daughter Stephanie and son James. He is also survived by his daughters Malissa and Lawana and his son Tommy. Paw paw to Morgan, Izic, Jasmine, Adrine, Madison, Chelsea, Summer, Daisy, and Patrick.

Thomas was a life-long hard worker. He grew up working on a farm and then did work as a tree cutter, professional carpet cleaner, and a maintenance machinist. A busy body, always repairing something, all with his classic style of slicked back hair and a button-up intact. He was always the first to help anyone when needed, no questions asked. A real MacGuyver, he could fix anything with practically nothing, help make a cool science project or art piece when you were stuck, or whip up any of his many signature dishes in the kitchen. Family loved to come over and eat his freshly cooked meals. A truly creative and resourceful individual.

A loving father and grandfather, adopting any and all of the neighborhood friends. He loved pinto beans, front porch sitting, Westerns, the lake, and talking machinery. He was incredibly strong, 'til the very end. He will be missed dearly.

A memorial service will be held on September 10, 2023.
