Thomas J.C. Silvey

Thomas J.C. Silvey (43) of Marietta, Georgia, passed away in his sleep, Saturday, April 5th, 2025. Tom was always the loudest one in the room, full of energy and with a joke for everyone around him. Tom was born on September 7, 1981, to Robin Silvey.

Tom grew up in Mableton, Georgia. He attended high school where he met Rebecca Copley. Together, they had Alexis and Megan, the joys of Tom’s life. Tom would then marry Patricia Southerland in 2017, growing his family further with her children, Brianna, Cory, Harmony, and Austin. Above all, Tom was a dedicated father and husband, always working hard to provide for those that he loved.

Tom is survived by his wife, Patricia Silvey, sisters Delores Deewee and Angel Long, brother Alan Silvey, daughters Alexis Turvey, Megan Copley, Brianna Southerland, and Harmony Southerland, sons Cory Southerland and Austin Vinson, niece Emily Maslow and nephew Daniel Maslow.

Tom was preceded in death by his brother Luther “Bubba” Long, and his mother, Robin Silvey.

Friends and family are invited to The Church at Dallas in Dallas, Georgia, on Monday April 14th at 11am for a viewing and service. Following the service, a burial service will take place at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica, Georgia.
