Timothy Stadfeld

Timothy Stadfeld, 77, passed away on October 21, 2024, in Marietta, Georgia. At his request, there will be no memorial service; however, graveside services will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 1 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery, located at 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr., Canton, GA. Tim was born on June 16, 1947, in Flint, Michigan, to Max and MJ Stadfeld. After graduating from high school, he attended Hillsdale College, where he met his future wife, Gail. Upon earning his bachelor’s degree in business, he was drafted into the Army and served one tour in Vietnam. After returning from his tour, he married Gail, and they remained together until her passing on January 10, 2022. Throughout his life, Tim enjoyed watching various sports, particularly relishing the backstories of the athletes. He was a devoted animal lover and had several pets throughout his life. Tim also had a notorious sweet tooth, enjoying apple fritters for breakfast and bowls of ice cream before bed, always willing to share his treats. He will be deeply missed. Tim is survived by his two children, Greg and Julie (Adam); his grandson, Robert; his brother, Mike; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. He will be remembered for his constant smile, quick laughter, and upbeat spirit. Georgia Funeral Care in Acworth, GA, is caring for the Stadfeld family.
