Vincent Charles "Vinnie" Esposito

With a heart overflowing with love and a spirit as bright as his smile, Vincent Charles "Vinnie" Esposito passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025, in Acworth, Georgia, at the age of 93.

Born on March 31, 1931, in St. Albans, New York, to Vincent and Elisabeth Esposito, Vinnie cherished his family deeply. Vinnie held his parents in deep reverence. He treasured his close connection with his siblings, Delores and Robert, both of whom predeceased him.

He maintained lifelong friendships forged in the bustling streets of his youth, and in his later years, embraced technology to stay connected, especially with Debbie Clark and her children, and his nephews and their families whom he adored.

Vinnie's life was guided by his strong Catholic faith and a profound sense of duty. He served his country honorably as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War, an experience that shaped his life and instilled in him a lifelong commitment to "Semper Fidelis."

Upon his return, Vinnie built a successful career in construction and later served as a dedicated building inspector for Charlotte County, Florida, ensuring the safety of his community. He continued to serve others by actively supporting fellow veterans.

Vinnie embraced life with passion. His greatest joy was his family. He instilled in them the values of hard work, responsibility, and unwavering love.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by his children: Vincent (Patricia), Michael (Jean), and Cathy (Rich); eight grandchildren: Christina, Elizabeth, Adelae, Winston, Carlotta, Olivia, and Nico; and one great-grandchild, Jacob. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan Marie Esposito, whose memory he held dear.

A veteran service will be held on April 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, Georgia 30114, honoring Vinnie's service to his country.

Vinnie's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
