William Randall (Randy) Drummond

June 14, 1952 — April 6, 2025

White, GA

William Randall “Randy” Drummond, age 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving friends and family.

Randy was born and raised in Georgia, where he graduated from Sprayberry High School. He went on to work at Lockheed Martin for 35 years as a skilled tool repairman. Outside of work, Randy had a deep love for music — he started playing bass in middle school with a band called Josiah, later joined Slewfoot Rock N Roll, and continued playing bass alongside many of those same friends throughout his life, building lifelong bonds through their shared passion. He was also an avid Rendezvous enthusiast, cherishing time spent with the community he loved.

More than anything, Randy’s life was built on a foundation of faith. His love for Jesus was the cornerstone of who he was, guiding how he lived, loved, and served others. His faith wasn’t just something he believed — it was something he lived out every day with kindness, generosity, and unwavering trust in God's plan.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, William Randall Drummond Sr.; his mother, Georgia Brown Drummond; his uncle, Charles “Chuck” Esmiol; and his grandchildren, Maverick and Charlie.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandy Drummond; his brother, Jeff Drummond (Shirley); and his niece and nephew, Caitlyn and Jacob. Randy’s legacy also lives on through his children: Simon Drummond (Jenny), Travis Drummond (Cherish), Randi Anne Lowman (Mel), Krickette Klinsbeck, Chau Ladner, Chad Greenway (Emily), and Kaylie Smith (Eric); and his beloved grandchildren: Caleb (Vanessa), Shelby (Terry), William, Thadeus, Isaiah, Aurora, Georgia, Juniper, Charlie, Gabriel, Brighlee, Aubree, Wyatt, Aaliyah, Kaydence, Eliyanah, Leah Leshea, and Leilani Simone; and his great grandchildren: Phoenix, Vance, and Liliana.

Friends and family are invited to gather in Randy’s honor at Georgia Funeral Care in Acworth, Georgia, on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM.

Randy will be remembered for his unwavering love, his musical soul, and the countless ways he brightened the lives of others. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
