Mr. Ernest Fleming Bullington Jr., 81, went to be with the lord Friday May 5, 2017, at Waldrop Assisted Living Center in Cartersville, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Fleming Bullington, Sr. and his grandparents, “Buddy” and Rose Derhoit, of Richmond, Virginia.

He was born October 15, 1935, in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was an English teacher for 24 years at Cass High School. He also taught in Alabama and Florida. He loved to play the piano, and had a strong appreciation for nature. He served his country in the U.S. Air force, a member of the Strategic Air Command. He attended Cassville Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Georgia Funeral Care and Cremation in Acworth, Georgia, with Pastor Ron Cansler officiating. Internment is at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville, Georgia.
