On Site Crematory - Acworth, Georgia

Over the past several years, an increasing number of families have selected cremation as a final means of disposition of the remains of their loved ones. At Georgia Funeral Care & Cremation Services, we are committed to making certain that the best possible care is taken in the cremation process—and we realized the only way to do that was to have our own crematory on-site.

Georgia Funeral Care’s on-site crematory was completed in April 2017, allowing us to offer you and your family the unparalleled peace of mind of knowing that your loved one never leaves our care.

Why An On-Site Crematory Is Important:

Your Loved One Never Leaves Our Care

Georgia Funeral Care & Cremation Services is among the very few mortuaries in Georgia to operate our own on-site crematory. We do not outsource any of the services we provide, and our cremation facilities are within the same clean and secure facility as our funeral home, chapel, and offices. This ensures the security of your loved one with our professional and caring staff.

We Cremate Only One Person At A Time

Every cremation at Georgia Funeral Care is handled individually, with dignity, compassion, respect, and the highest of standards. To ensure your loved one is being cared for appropriately, we follow a strict set of guidelines for each cremation.

Your Personal Inspection Is Welcome

Unlike many other crematories, we don’t hide our crematory in a garage, basement, or some remote location outside our facility. Our crematory, right here in Acworth and in the same building as our funeral home and chapel, is open to public inspection. You’ll find a clean facility, the latest and safest computer-monitored state-of-the-art equipment, peaceful and lovely surroundings, and a well-qualified and caring staff.

Our Staff Members Are Certified

Only our licensed staff operates the crematory. Although this isn’t required by any law, it’s our way of ensuring the proper handling of your loved one’s remains before, during, and after the cremation.

If you have questions or concerns about cremation, just give us a call (678) 574-3016 and we’ll be happy to help.
