Louis Leo Liss, Jr., passed away on January 8, 2017, in Canton, Georgia, at the age of 76.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Laurie (Martin) Crowley of Woodstock, Georgia, daughter Julie Knight of Canton, Georgia, and son Brad (Rhonda) Liss of Dallas, Georgia, grandchildren Ashley, Lindsey, Andrew, Chandler, Lauren, sisters Linda Hofer, Joan Teeken, Jane (Dick) Noskie of New York, Rita (Jeff) Clement of Ohio, brother Thomas (Patricia) Liss of Alaska, nieces, nephews, and his companion in life Jean Mannion of Ft. Meyers, Florida. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Sunn of Ft. Meyers, Florida, father Louis Leo Liss, Sr., stepmother Wera (Jerry) Moonyhan, sister Loretta Liss, brothers John Liss and Richard Liss, two nieces, and one nephew.
Leo was born in Rochester, New York, and honorably served in the Navy from 1959 to 1965. He spent the next 45 years in building and remodeling living in Hilton, New York; Austell, Georgia; and Ft. Myers, Florida. He moved back to Georgia in 2016.
To honor and celebrate his life, a casual gathering will be held on January 24, 2017, at 7:00 pm at 8024 Alico Road, Fort Myers, Florida 33912.
