Ann Jabetz Farrell April 15th 1928 – August 14th 2018
Ann Farrell passed away peacefully after battling Alzheimer’s for several years at The Waterford at Hidden Lake assisted living in Canton, GA.
Ann, the youngest of six children, was born in Wharton, NJ. to Wasilissa and Samuel Jabetz. Ann graduated from Wharton High School and joined the secretarial pool at Reaction Motors where she met her then future husband, James R. Farrell. She married in 1951 and had 2 sons James Jr (1993) and Robert Ford. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, singing, golfing, swimming and activities at the American Legion Post in Lady Lake, FL.
Ann is survived by her son Robert F. Farrell, Sr., daughters-in-law Amy Bliss Farrell and Mary Connelly Farrell, grandchildren Dawna Marie Farrell, Theresa Ann Donahue, Robert Ford Farrell, Jr. Katherine Suzanne Farrell, James Noel Farrell, Meghan Christine Rohe and her husband Daniel Rohe, and great-grandson Jaylen Mason Ivy. Ann gathered “adopted” children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren where ever she was. She will be missed by all her ”kids”.
Arrangements are by Georgia Funeral Care & Cremation Services of Acworth, Ga. Visitation will be August 19th, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm with a service immediately following. Ann will then be interred at the Nation Cemetery in Bushnell, FL with her husband James. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
