Bonnie Lantz Passed away on April 17, two days before her 69th birthday. Born in Washington, D.C., Bonnie graduated from Frostburg State University, Frostburg, Maryland, in 1971 with a BA in Political Science. While at Frostburg Bonnie met Roy, her husband of 46 years. They lived a rather nomadic life for the first three years of marriage, moving five times in four states. They then decided to settle down and spent the next 44 years in the same house in Marietta, GA. Bonnie enjoyed an extremely successful professional career, rising to management positions in the solid waste and environmental sectors. After her retirement, Bonnie enjoyed background acting, appearing in over a dozen movies and TV shows. She loved traveling, and she and Roy were able to see much of the world through his business as well as several cruises. Bonnie played a very active role in a number of activities at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and was active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion. A Memorial Service to celebrate a life well lived will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, 7:00 PM, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Marietta, GA, with a reception to follow.
