Brian Wilson was born on July 3rd 1956 in Miami Florida to Terrell and Joan Wilson. Brian’s family lived in Columbus GA for many years, moved to the Houston Texas area for several years, and returned to Georgia for his high school year.
Brian is known as a kind and good-hearted man with a good sense of humor, a good cook and proud of it. He loved serving at his church, was an understanding father who loved family, a great coach to his children, and a good role model in the sports arena. Brian was an avid race car enthusiast and could often be found watching whatever race was being broadcast. This passion was spurred by his days of working on the Elliott’s team building engines, and moving in later years to his own racing days driving his own drag racing car.
Brian is survived by his loving wife, Donna Wilson, his children, Amanda Morgan and her husband, Sonny, Brent Wilson, and Austin Wilson. Additionally, he is survived by his mother, Joan Wilson, two grandchildren, Katelyn and Tristin Wilson, and brother, Keith and his wife, Shirley and family. Also, Brian is survived by his Uncle Bill and his wife, Kay, Uncle Mark and wife, Jennie, and cousins from their families, who Brian loved so much.
The memorial service for Brian is scheduled for Saturday, July 8th, 1pm, at his family’s church, Mount Paran North, 1700 Allgood Road, Marietta, GA 30062 in the Walker Chapel. The family of Brian will receive friends prior to the service from 12:15pm-12:45pm at the Chapel.
The family is grateful for all prayers.
