Caroline Fair Turley passed into her true home on July 12, 2020 at the age of 90 in Marietta, Georgia where she lived the last few years of her life. In previous years, her residence was in Toccoa, Georgia where she was a member of First Alliance Church and was involved in senior and women’s ministries. She also volunteered at the Stephens County Hospital. Before moving to Toccoa, she lived in Wilmore, Kentucky, and Atlanta, Georgia. She was born and raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina and graduated from Winthrop College. She received her registered nursing degree from Dekalb College and was a registered nurse at Northside Hospital for over 25 years.
Caroline is survived by her son Douglas Turley (Sharleen), Wendy Turley (Tim Cox), Diane McGehee (Jack) and Robin Longinow (Mike).
Grandchildren: David Turley (Suzi), Jonathan Turley (Margreet), Olivia Fair Byler (Dan), Isabel Turley, Sean Renfroe, Marsha Knott (Heath), David Feiler (Tory), Jonathan Feiler (Laura), Ben Feiler (Summer), Danny Feiler (Sarah Allain), Ben Longinow (Nicole), Mat Longinow (Miriam), Sarah Barnes (Jonny).
Great Grandchildren: Sofia Turley, Christopher Turley; Hudson Turley, Margot Turley, Iris Byler, Oliver Byler, Caroline Knott, Luke Feiler, Colin Feiler, Aiden Longinow, Chloe Joy Longinow, Millie Ruth Barnes.
A private memorial service will be held by her family on Saturday, July 18th 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Kennesaw Memorial Park, 1306 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, Georgia with Rev. Diane McGehee officiating.
