David Keith Alcorn of Cartersville, GA was the loving husband of Laurie Jean Alcorn for 42 years, devoted father of Sheila, Michael, and Julia, and joyous "Papa" of Tristan, Garrett, Luciana, and Lilah. He was born April 14, 1959, in St. Louis, MO to Scottie Lafayette Alcorn and Helen Catheline Alcorn, and was a dear brother to Tim, Kathie, and Paul. He entered the Gates of Heaven on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
Dave was honestly the nicest guy you would ever meet. He saw the good in everyone and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He would give family or a friend a call just to tell them that he loved them. He taught his children to love unconditionally and is going to be missed by so many. His spirit will continue to live on with all of us.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, 5:00-7:00 pm at Georgia Funeral Care and Cremation Services, 4671 S. Main St., Acworth, GA 30101. A Celebration of David's Life will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at 1288 Taylorsville Macedonia Rd. in Taylorsville, GA at 2:00 pm.
