Doyle Dale Camp Sr. age 83 of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away September 21, 2019 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain Hospice in Marietta, Georgia. He was born on October 26, 1935 in Grubbs, Arkansas and raised in Flint, Michigan.
Our beloved Husband, Dad, and Pap -- he is survived by his wife of 63 years Rhonda, 2 sons -- Dale (Terry) and Michael (Wendy) and 2 grandchildren -- Andrew (Alison) and Whitney Dickman (Brian). He is also survived by 2 sisters -- Bert Roof (Ben) and Jeanette Webster. He was preceded in death by his parents Lockwood & Thelma Camp.
He enjoyed a long and successful business career retiring as Detroit Regional Sales Manager for AMP, Inc. After retirement he entered the ministry and served as Associate Pastor at Revival Tabernacle an inner city church in Highland Park, Michigan. He also was actively involved in the jail ministry at Wayne County Jail in Detroit, Michigan where he led several inmates to faith in Jesus Christ.
He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and served him faithfully since accepting Christ as Savior in 1968. He and wife Rhonda are members of The Church at Liberty Square Church of God in Cartersville, Georgia.
He truly was a people person who enjoyed life and always emphasized the importance of faith and family. We are blessed to be able to proudly call him our Husband, Dad, and Pap and we will miss him dearly as we anticipate meeting him in Heaven in the presence of our Lord.
On September 25th the immediate family celebrated his Heavenly homecoming with a memorial celebration at his grave-site at Providence Cemetery at Liberty Square Church of God in Cartersville, Georgia.
