In Loving Memory James Alvin Butler August 18, 1941 – July 01, 2024 U.S. Veteran
It is with heavy hearts, that we share the passing of James Alvin Bulter, aged 82 born in Santa Fe, Texas. James was a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wanda and 3 children: Sandra Huprich, Shawn Butler, and Scott Butler. Five grandchildren and six great grandchildren and survived by a sister, Kathy Butler. James dedicated his life to his wife and family. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1960-1963 with honor. His hobbies included photography, drawing, collecting coins, stamps, and fishing. He had a special bond with all his grandchildren and loved sharing his hobbies and time with them as well as teaching them valuable life lessons about kindness and caring for others. James would want to be remembered as a happy man, who enjoyed life and loved his family.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024: Family will receive friends and visitors at Georgia Funeral Care – 4671 South Main St, Acworth, GA 30101
- 11:30am - 12:30pm Visitation
- 12:30pm – 1:30pm Service
- 1:30pm – 2:30pm Depart for Georgia National Cemetery – 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr., Canton, GA 30114 where Mr. Butler will be laid to rest
