James (Jimmy) Charles Craig Jr, age 67, was called to his eternal home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 15, 2020.
Jimmy was born to the late James C Craig Sr and Elizabeth Hufstetler Craig of Acworth GA on October 2, 1953. Jimmy graduated from Cassville High School in 1971. He then served his country in the US Air Force. He joined CSX Railroad in 1977 where he retired after 28 years of service.
Jimmy leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Debbie Craig, two children – Amy Martin and Josh Craig, two granddaughters – Haley Martin and Jeanna Craig, sisters – Margaret Jolley (deceased), Peggy Aley, Mary Starling along with cousins, nieces and nephews. When Jimmy was able he loved working on cars/trucks. Later in his life, he enjoyed reading and watching movies/tv.
Jimmy was loved by many and he will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends for Jimmy's visitation on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, from 4 - 8 PM, at Georgia Funeral Care, 4671 S. Main St. Acworth, GA 30101. As many of you all know Jimmy was not one for dressing up. He loved his white t-shirt and blue jeans. In honor of Jimmy, we ask that everyone come in casual dress to the visitation.
