John Wilson Dendy, 79, of Dallas GA, died August 17, 2023.

Mr. Dendy was born August 22, 1943 in Birmingham, Alabama.

He attended high school in Birmingham, AL. Shortly after high school, he enlisted in the US Marine Corp where he served in Vietnam. He then continued his education in the field of computer science. He spent his career in IT support retiring from Delta Air Lines in 2007.

He was a loyal University of Alabama fan, enjoyed sailing and flying remote control airplanes.

He is survived by his fiance Barbara Parisi, daughter Lynette Curtis (Bill), grandaughters Kylie and Amelia, brother Joe Maniscalco (Kim) sister Carol Ann Crandall (David).

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Maniscalco.

Graveside services will begin at 11:00 am on August 24 at the Georgia National Cemetary.
