Joseph Ruggiero, of Acworth, GA began his journey home to Heaven on 8/10/2021, after a long hard battle with cancer-he was 70.
Joseph served in the US Army, 82nd Airborne during the Vietnam War. His passion was putting on skydiving shows and said that there was nothing like the feeling of jumping out of a plane-peaceful and quiet. He loved his sports-playing poker, golfing, fishing, and watching his Yankee games. He was an electrician by trade and one of the best. He took tremendous pride in his work. He never stopped working and pushing on, despite his cancer. By his side at home until the end were his grandsons Andre, Alex, and granddaughter Alexis, and his beloved and never-ending protector and best (furry) friend Bentley, who still waits at the door for him.
Joseph is survived by his second wife Janet Ruggiero, GA, and their sons Justin Ruggiero and fiancé Kimberly Seager, GA, Christopher Ruggiero and fiancé Kimberly Cottrell, CT, daughter Caitlin Ruggiero, GA with grandchildren Andre Ruggiero and fiancé Anna McKenzie, GA, Hayden Ruggiero, CT, Alexander Ruggiero, Alexis Ruggiero, GA, Christian Ruggiero, CT, and Michael J.
