Karen Ann Ehrlich
September 2, 1940-April 2, 2024
In loving memory of Karen Ann Ehrlich, who peacefully passed away on April 2, 2024, in Marietta, Georgia, to be reunited with her Lord. She was born on September 2, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, to Karen and John Carr.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine Francois Morris, and her two sons, Scott Langlet and John Langlet; six grandchildren: Dominic, Jackson, Kristin, Jayme, Miranda, Rebecca, and Julia; and two great-grandchildren, Forest, and Coraline.
She is predeceased by her late husband, Jack Ehrlich, her parents, John and Karen Carr along with her brother John Carr and sister Susan Pasquale. Karen married her teenage sweetheart, Henry Paul Langlet, Jr., in 1960.
They packed up their three kids and moved from Long Island, New York to Richardson, Texas in 1968 where they raised their family and made many lifelong friends. After their divorce, Karen moved back to New York to assist with her aging parents. There, she met John (Jack) Gunther Ehrlich and they were married in 1982.
After Jack’s retirement, they moved to Myrtle Beach, S.C. in the early 90’s. They loved the area and met many new friends. Karen became a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in North Myrtle Beach. She volunteered at the church and particularly loved working on their annual rummage sale. Jack passed away in 2003.
Karen moved to Atlanta, GA in 2015 to be closer to family. She adapted well to her new home and made many friends. She loved hosting a weekly Rummikub game with her friends. Karen will be interred at the columbarium of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in North Myrtle Beach alongside Jack and her mother.
A memorial service will be held at that time to honor her memory.
